Outer Banks Plumbing Legend Celebrates a Quarter-Century of Service
Honoring two and a half decades of service across the OBX region
KILL DEVIL HILLS, N.C. — June 22, 2026 — John Osborn’s Action Plumbing, a premier provider of residential and commercial plumbing services, is proud to announce its 25th anniversary of incorporation. What began in 1999 as a sole proprietorship in John Osborn’s garage has grown into one of the region’s most trusted, family-operated service companies, operating from their warehouse and office in Kill Devil Hills’ Ocean Commerce Park.
Expanding Service Across the OBX Region and Mainland
Over the last 25 years, Action Plumbing has expanded its footprint to seamlessly serve the region. Their service area spans from the northern beaches of Duck and Corolla, through Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, Southern Shores, and Manteo, down to the Tri-Villages of Rodanthe, Waves, and Salvo. In addition, they proudly cross the bridge to service Currituck mainland communities, including Harbinger, Powells Point, and up through Grandy.
Celebrating 25 Years by Giving Back
In honor of this milestone, Action Plumbing is donating 25% of today’s service sales to The Wave Function Project. Founded by Nags Head Elementary special education teacher Alex Cohill, this organization hosts a five-week summer camp at the Dare County Youth Center in Kill Devil Hills, providing interactive programming, skill-building, and social experiences for local youth with intellectual disabilities.
